Here is a selection of documentary and personal storytelling projects that capture real moments and experiences. Through editing, cinematography, and sound, these works explore different approaches to nonfiction filmmaking.
Sisterhood recruitment: December 2024
A sisterhood video I was hired to create for my sorority, Alpha Delta Pi's recruitment, highlighting fun and natural looking moments. I spent much of the semester working on it and hired my friend Ben to help with cinematography. Once I had the footage, I focused on editing to create an uplifting and polished final piece.
Philanthropy recruitment: December 2024
I also created a 30-second philanthropy video for ADPi to play during recruitment, focusing on highlighting our chapter’s philanthropy in a short, impactful way.
M.y. life: may 2024
A personal project created for my class final, featuring a collection of photos taken on my digital camera, compiled into a visual reflection of my life.
Transportation documentary: April 2024
A documentary about transportation, where I handled the editing and filmed supporting footage to accompany the narration
I helped edit this video for my club, Uncut, which focuses on interviewing athletes to highlight their personal lives beyond their roles in sports. This piece tells the story of one athlete, sharing insights into his family and life outside of athletics
